Description

CONTENTS: 1 bar of 100g

Hair and scalp dryness can be natural, or be caused by lower hydration, insufficient nutrition, exposure to harsh sunlight, water etc. This conditioning shampoo bar contains coconut, flaxseed, lavender and cedarwood oils, combined to restore nourishment. By balancing the oil-producing glands in the scalp, cedarwood oil soothes itchy scalps and helps fight dandruff. Lavender oil has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties which improve overall scalp health. Coconut and flaxseed oils have deep conditioning properties that help your hair retain moisture for longer.

FULL INGREDIENT LIST: Sodium cocoyl isethionate, corn starch, citric acid, emulsifying wax, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, lavender oil, cedarwood oil

USE: Wet the bar and create a lather in your hands or apply directly to wet hair (recommended). Though cleansing like regular shampoo, the bar will not strip your hair and scalp, and slowly regulate over-production of natural oils – reducing the overall number of washes over time.

STORAGE: These pucks do need a little care and we request you to store the bar in a dry, ventilated space after use. Please use a dish/container with some drainage to avoid the bar soaking in water.

PACKAGING: The bar is packaged in thin butter paper and a recycled paper box that can be disposed without guilt! You can choose to order an aluminum container for ease of storage and travel; it is very easily reusable and has high recycling value, so your local recycler will definitely find use for it!

Psst! Curlies This is your no-poo, co wash companion. I thought I would use it for clarifying wash because shampoo bar? My surprise when I could finger detangle while WASHING and not conditioning :O. Puck is shaped so well, it fits in your palm so you can run it along the length in praying motion but that’s not it!! You can ALSO use it on your scalp because it cleanses and conditions at the same time ( Shampoo bars were supposed to be doing this in the first place before the bottled surfactant, silicone versions took over)
This will free you from the vicious circle of co-washes and clarifying washes and then restarting all over again and you will have the time and budget to look into CG styling products instead.
A+ for packaging, not a single shred of plastic in it. Way to go Arani!! Thanks for making it possible to match my steps with your EcoSteps

My hair was so dry and brittle throughout the lockdown and was falling in bunches everyday, despite oiling and other efforts. I was caught in the cycle of washing every alternate day, only to lose more hair. This bar has added a lot of health and moisture overall, and I could feel the difference from the second wash itself, through significantly reduced hair fall. A further vote of confidence came from my house-help because she was so tired of collecting hair from everywhere!
Love that this is zero-waste and will essentially be gone when finished. For people with troubled hair like mine, the products and bottles really add up otherwise…

I have completed one shampoo bar, and believe me it’s awesome. Initially I was reluctant to switch to a ‘ Shampoo Bar’ as I was skeptical if it would clean oiled hair, but YES it does. I use castor oil and this shampoo bar it does what it says. I would definitely recommend people with dry hair to try this once you will never be disappointed.

Stays true to its name, it’s shampoo+conditioning bar. My hair had lost its lesture post Covid. Also due to hard water it was becoming difficult to handle the frizz. But after using this Shampoo bar, my hair became better then ever before. My Mom also used the same bar. She also loved it.

First of all, thank you for walking the talk and sending my order in a plastic free package – even the tape is paper! And I love the dishwash bar, the soap, the laundry powder and shampoo bar – all no plastic packaging! One thing i absolutely love is the fragrance of the laundry powder that somehow seeps through the box and always freshens up my room 🙂

oh this shampoo bar is really good. my dry hair is feeling loved and i think this bar will go on longer than any shampoo bottle I bought and saves so much plastic. This was the best buy in this lot. Though I tried it as an experiment, I’m super glad I ordered it.

It is a good alternative to a shampoo, foams well and hair feels squeaky clean. However, it left my hair extremely dry and stringy, even after oiling my hair and washing. Am a bit disappointed.
