CONTENTS: 1 bar of 100g

Facial skin definitely needs more care considering constant exposure, and hydration is non-negotiable! Unfortunately, traditional facewashes are often packaged in tubes that are made of multiple layers of plastic, making them almost impossible to recycle. These are very likely to end up in the ocean or a landfill, and live there forever.

In addition to being zero-waste, bars are great since they can be formulated with all the nourishment needed for your skin type!

FULL INGREGIENT LIST: Sunflower oil, coconut oil, castor oil, lye, kaolin clay, shea butter, tea tree oil, activated bamboo charcoal

USE: Wet the bar, generate lather in hands and gently massage on your face. Rinse off and pat dry 🙂

STORAGE: These pucks do need a little care and we request you to store the bar in a dry, ventilated space after use. Please use a dish/container with some drainage to avoid the bar soaking in water.

PACKAGING: The bar is packaged in thin butter paper and a recycled paper box that can be disposed without guilt! You can choose to order an aluminum container for ease of storage and travel; it is very easily reusable and has high recycling value, so your local recycler will definitely find use for it!

Feels good after using the soap, no allergies or breakouts. There is a definite natural smell unlike the synthetic fragrance of the commercial facewashes. Can feel the oils coming out of the soap too is it supposed to be that way?

  Hi Reese, thanks so much for your feedback! What you’re seeing is just some sweating that these bars go through in humid conditions, since they tend to absorb moisture. That mixes with the bar’s oils and creates droplets. But none of the essentials are lost in the process; this is just something that cold-pressed bars go through since they are not synthetically processed. If you’d like to avoid it, please store the bar in a soap dish with drainage holes, preferably in a dry and ventilated space. Hope this helps 🙂

Fabulous so to say! So glad to have finally been able to use a bar for washing off the dirt from the face instead of face washes out of tubes and bottles. It seems to be sticking very hard on the surface where it is kept after use. So it was a task for me to identify what works best to store it if keeping it in a soap dish is not an option for a bathroom that doesn’t have surface areas. For this particular reason, I was hesitant to buy it. I had suggested a hanging rope for the soap to be attached while being produced so that it could be hung in bathrooms with lesser space:)

I have used other charcoal bars and facewash but this bar works the best. It’s not like other charcoal facewash where after you wash and pat dry and then your face feels extremely dry, this bar removes dirt and oil pretty well but also keeps that hydrating feel to your face and the skin feels smooth.
