Description

CONTENTS: 1 bar of 130g

A simple alternative to commercial dishwash bars – formulated with very mild ingredients including sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, naturally occurring silicates, clay, and lemon extracts.

The unsung heroes of our kitchens, dishwash bars often come wrapped in low-medium grade plastic that has little value for recycling. These wrappers predominantly end up in a landfill or in open spaces around us. Also, the ingredients used to fight tough stains are often harsh, non-biodegradable and harmful to the water bodies they get washed into.

This little product will last you quite a while since even a small amount is highly potent, and it does not lose its integrity easily if left in water. Gentle on your hands, it fights all stains on steel, glass, aluminium and other utensils, leaving only a hint of lemon fragrance behind.

INGREDIENTS: Sodium silicate, dolomite, china clay, calcite, feldspar, lemon essence

Finally, the bar is wrapped in newspaper that breaks down naturally in soil and water. It may not seem like a lot, but this simple swap can save ~20 packs of plastic from entering the environment every year. Isn’t it a great choice? 🙂

In love with this..For a moment I even doubted whether it was all natural..because of the really good grease cutting action and the way how it stayed strong contrary to most other natural dish wash soaps which would turn soggy and pasty in a very short time. And for the price.. It delivers really a lot..

Love it. IT has a fresh, pleasant smell. It lathers and cleans oily vessels too. My maid had this complaint when using Bioenzyme. They dont get the squeaky clean feel. This dishwash bar serves the purpose and keeps everyone happy. Doesnt makes a gooey mess. Gets used till the last bit and lasts long.

The courier you use uses a lot of plastic cello tape to seal the box, defeating the purpose of shopping from a zero waste store. Is there anything you can do about it?

  Thanks for this feedback Shobana! We’ll definitely discuss with them again since we’ve given strict instructions to not add plastic tape on the boxes we hand over. Sometimes in the case of heavy boxes, if some damage happens in transit, they tend to reinforce the boxes with plastic tape. We’ll check and improve on this. Thank you 🙂

my rating would be 3.75..this product works well but a little bit improvisation is needed when it comes to the oil stained vessels cleaning.. the vessel is left with the oil stickiness sometimes also it would be great if no colors are added to the dishwash bar.. thank you for bringing a good product 🙂
