Description

CONTENTS: 40g grains diluting to 1 litre Multi Surface Cleaner

Festivals are coming!! And as we slowly discover hidden corners to clean, Multi Surface Cleaner liquid really comes in handy. But like most other liquid products, this is 95+% water. Imagine transporting all that water to so many homes across thousands of kilometers ☹️

Also, these liquids are packaged in thick plastic bottles that we discard when empty. These are mostly high-grade plastic and though theoretically recyclable, less than 15% would actually get recycled. So, most of this material would end up in a landfill.

Since we have plenty of that at home, why not re-use our existing bottles and create some more when we run out? Great idea!

USE: Don’t throw away your old Multi Surface Cleaner bottle! Reusing is awesome ❤ Please refer to the images on the left for simple steps to create the liquid from grains. There will also be a detailed instructions on the pack you receive.

FULL INGREDIENT LIST: ECOCERT Coconut Oil Based SLS, Plant Based Glycerol, Orange oil, Food grade color

PACKAGING: The grains are packaged in a fully compostable pouch. This pouch can be added to a home composting unit or to your garden soil, and will break down under natural conditions in about 6 months. It is CPCB approved and will also be accepted at a community or industrial composting unit near you. If not composting yourself, the best way would be to segregate and inform your waste collector about this material.

This is the only product in Arani catalogue that I am unhappy with. Firstly it foams so it’s impossible to clean glass and most other non kitchen surfaces with it. Secondly and most importantly it has a strong acid like smell/fume. When used in a small room we all started coughing from the strong smell. Haven’t used it after that because of how bad it was.

Sometimes the dispenser might be putting out a higher quantity than needed, and the product is relatively concentrated. But please be assured that this is a very simple coconut oil based formula with orange essential oils for fragrance, so nothing to worry about. We’ll also text you for direct assistance 🙏

It froths too much. It is more of a soap than surface cleaner. I need to rinse the surface with water after using the cleaner because of the froth.

Apologies that your experience wasn’t good 🙁 Please dilute the liquid further and it should solve this problem 🙂 We just wanted to create something effective and long lasting, but totally understand your point. Please add atleast 300ml more water and you’ll feel a significant difference. Hope this helps!

Good surface cleaner. Same issue faced of fume and froth. However, going through the previous reviews, got the answer that I need to dilute it further and thank you for reassuring that it’s safe.
When some fumes went to my eyes and nose, I got little afraid. Thanks
