4.6/5
The fully compostable handle of this toothbrush is made of 100% organic bamboo grown in India. Chemical-free carbonization, neem oil coating and vegetable wax coating are carried out on all toothbrushes to prevent microbial growth during usage.
The wave handle design provides ergonomic support and engraved symbols help identification. The BPA free bristles are made of bio-nylon infused with activated charcoal. They absorb plaque, odour-causing bacteria, and teeth-staining tannins, giving your teeth that extra bit of care.
Use: Please change your toothbrush every 2-3 months. Minor discoloration of the handle in this duration is natural and does not indicate decay or microbial growth.
Care: Though fully treated, the material is natural and may attract fungus if left in dark and damp conditions for too long. Please rinse and dry the brush after using and store it in a ventilated space.
Disposal: Please dispose the toothbrush with your wet waste or add to your compost pit. The bio-polymer bristles are compostable to a large extent, but not a 100%; it would hence be ideal to pluck them out and add them to your dry waste/recycling basket.
Did you know that nearly 4 billion toothbrushes are thrown out annually across the world, mostly to end up in a landfill? Plastic toothbrushes were first made in the 1930s, but they do not biodegrade and cannot be recycled.
Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource and can grow into a structural column within 3 years. This makes it an extremely sustainable material, relative to even tree wood or paper. By making this simple switch, you would be meaningfully participating in a much-needed fight against plastic!

My bamboo toothbrush gets reused after I stop using it. Love the unique symbols which help in identifying individual brushes.
